The holiday season is approaching at Magic Kingdom, and the countdown to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2025 has begun. This event offers festive entertainment, holiday-themed ride overlays, a storybook atmosphere, and seasonal treats.

What is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed holiday event at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World. Guests can enjoy unique holiday entertainment, overlays on classic rides, and a joyful seasonal environment.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dates

The 2025 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place on select nights from Friday, November 7, through Sunday, December 21. Guests can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m., while the party officially starts at 7:00 p.m.

Event dates in November include the 7th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 26th, 28th, and 30th. December dates include the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 19th, and 21st.

Ticket Information

Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2025 will go on sale July 16 for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green. Tickets will be available for all other guests starting July 22.

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can access special pricing. Tickets may be purchased online or via the Disney Reservation Center.

Holiday Character Greetings

Guests can enjoy exclusive character meet-and-greet opportunities during the party. Characters include Anna and Elsa in Christmas attire at Princess Fairytale Hall, Sally and Santa Jack, and Mickey and Minnie Mouse in their holiday outfits at Town Square Theater.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade

The parade features dancing gingerbread men, ballroom dancers, toy soldiers, Disney characters in holiday attire, and a festive atmosphere complete with holiday music and scents. Santa Claus makes a special appearance at the parade’s conclusion.

The parade route runs from Frontierland to Main Street, U.S.A., with many great viewing locations throughout the park.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks

Hosted by Minnie Mouse, this nighttime spectacular combines classic holiday songs with pyrotechnics, castle projections, and lighting effects. Cinderella Castle is wrapped in holiday scenes synchronized with the music and fireworks above.

Guests can view the fireworks from several locations including Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, or enjoy the séparately priced Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party with treats and premium views.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

This lively performance on the Cinderella Castle stage features Disney characters like Clarabelle Cow, Daisy Duck, and Woody. The show celebrates the happiness of the season with joyful music and dance.

Frozen Holiday Surprise & Dance Parties

Guests are invited to celebrate with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the snowgies as Cinderella Castle transforms into a frozen wonderland during the Frozen Holiday Surprise.

Dance parties are held at Rocket Tower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland with Club Tinsel and at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café with Disney Junior Jingle Jam.

Meet Santa at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Santa Claus can be met at Santa’s Christmas Carnival located in Storybook Circus near Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Barnstormer. It’s a perfect spot for families to visit Santa, enjoy crafts, and meet other holiday friends.

Holiday Rides Available

Several classic Magic Kingdom attractions receive holiday-themed makeovers, including Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Mad Tea Party, Jungle Cruise, and Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor.

Attractions that will be operating during the party include Pirates of the Caribbean and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin in Adventureland; Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Frontierland; Haunted Mansion in Liberty Square; and multiple rides in Fantasyland such as Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, “it’s a small world”, Peter Pan’s Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Mad Tea Party.

In Storybook Circus, guests can enjoy Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Barnstormer, while Tomorrowland offers Astro Orbiter, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, and TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise.

Festive Treats and Exclusive Merchandise

Guests will enjoy complimentary cookies, hot cocoa, and other sweet treats at select locations throughout Magic Kingdom. These seasonal snacks are included with the party ticket and locations are marked on the holiday party maps.

Visitors can dance under a winter snowfall effect on Main Street, U.S.A., and explore exclusive Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party merchandise available at the Emporium.
