New Details About What’s Coming to Walt Disney World in 2026

In 2026, Walt Disney World will debut ten new and refreshed attractions and experiences, alongside nine returning festivals and special events. This adds up to more than 200 days of exciting fun featuring Disney, Pixar, and Lucasfilm stories for guests of all ages.

Early 2026 Highlights

In February 2026, Frozen Ever After at EPCOT will feature updated Audio-Animatronic figures of Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff inspired by advancements from Hong Kong Disneyland. Early in the year, EPCOT hosts the International Festival of the Arts from January 16 to February 23 with artisanal dishes, stunning artwork, and performances from popular Disney on Broadway stars. Beginning or ending your day, Disney After Hours returns with separately ticketed nighttime events at select parks offering exclusive fun and included refreshments.

Spring 2026 Events

Spring shines at EPCOT with the International Flower & Garden Festival from March 4 to June 1, featuring whimsical topiaries, lush gardens, delicious bites, and live concerts. In Magic Kingdom, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopens after an extensive refurbishment with new magic and enhancements. Also reopening in spring is Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland, with updated ride vehicles and new blasters for all ages to enjoy.

Summer 2026 Fun and New Experiences

Summer is ideal for visiting when kids are out of school with Cool Kids' Summer bringing back family fun across the parks. Guests can enjoy GoofyCore dancing at EPCOT, character play games, and new attractions. Disney Resort guests receive free Water Park admission on arrival day. Disney H2O Glow After Hours returns at Typhoon Lagoon with a DJ dance party, character meet-ups, and complimentary treats. Banana Ball offers a unique sports event experience at ESPN Wide World of Sports in late May. Bluey and Bingo join guests for interactive fun with games and Australian native animal experiences at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Summer also marks the debut of "Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!" at Disney's Hollywood Studios offering lively tunes and character adventures. Later in summer, "The Magic of Disney Animation" opens with animated characters coming to life and a playground inspired by Mary Blair's Alice in Wonderland concept art. The collaborative "Off the Page!" area invites guests to explore departments like Story, Layout, Hand-Drawn Animation, and more, featuring meet and greets with favorite Disney characters. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster gets a Muppet-themed makeover summer 2026, while Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run introduces a new Mandalorian and Grogu mission May 22. Soarin’ Across America launches by Memorial Day celebrating the U.S. 250th anniversary.

Fall 2026 Seasonal Offerings

Fall welcomes the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival featuring global flavors and live entertainment. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns to Magic Kingdom with fan-favorite spooky entertainment, themed food and drinks, and character greetings on select evenings.

Winter 2026 Festivities

Disney Jollywood Nights returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios with holiday cheer, festive entertainment, food, and character appearances on select nights. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns to Magic Kingdom with seasonal shows, treats, and merchandise. EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth brings holiday storytellers, comfort foods, and the Candlelight Processional to celebrate the season.

New Entertainment and Experiences at Disney Springs

LEVEL99 will open in 2026 on Disney Springs West Side, offering over 60 themed challenge rooms, mental and physical duels, and art hunts. Guests can enjoy signature Detroit-style pizzas and drinks at the venue's two-story bar while playing games with friends and family. The 2026 Walt Disney World calendar showcases attractions, festivals, and events all year for an unforgettable visit.

With new nighttime parades, immersive shows like "The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure" and "Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After," refurbished rooms, and the reimagined Test Track, 2026 promises magical experiences for every guest visiting Walt Disney World.
