Disneyland Resort Surprises Anaheim Teachers with Complimentary Tickets and 68,000+ School Supplies

As summer ends and the new school year begins, Disneyland Resort celebrates its 70th Anniversary by supporting teachers who shape the future. Cast members donated over 68,000 school supplies to Anaheim elementary schools.

The annual Back-to-School Supply Drive unites Disneyland Resort cast members to collect materials such as colored pencils, crayons, notebooks, and more to support local students and teachers.

This year marks the largest donation in history of supplies to Orange Grove Elementary School through this campaign.

Before school started, Disney VoluntEARS delivered the supplies and then surprised over 100 teachers and faculty at Orange Grove Elementary School. Disney Ambassador Raul Aquino Rojas and Mickey Mouse thanked the educators and invited them to enjoy the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration with complimentary tickets for themselves and a guest.

Disneyland Resort has supported Orange Grove Elementary School for nearly 20 years through this supply drive and additional programs like HOLA Readers, a 12-week initiative that encourages student success through story time with Disney VoluntEARS, career days, and cultural celebrations.

Spreading Happiness Across Anaheim

To celebrate the city Disneyland Resort calls home, Anaheim residents can enjoy a special 1-day, 1-park ticket for as low as $70 during the 70th Anniversary Celebration, subject to availability and reservation requirements.

More surprises for local residents are planned as part of the 70 Happiest Hours in Anaheim, bringing joy throughout the community.
