Garden View Lounge Tea Experience Returns Mar 19th

Garden View Lounge – Tea Experience will reopen at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on March 19, with reservations starting February 19. This whimsical afternoon tea now features unique touches inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Alice in Wonderland.
Guests can enjoy both sweet and savory small bites paired with a selection of premium teas, set in the elegant atmosphere of the lounge with a magical twist. The experience offers menu options suitable for adults and children alike, perfect for a family outing.
Beverages
The tea journey begins with a curated selection of Twinings Loose Leaf Tea blends, including classics such as London Strand Breakfast and Spicy Chai, as well as exclusive blends like Orangery of Lady Grey and Nutty Chocolate Flavoured Assam. There is also a caffeine-free Blackcurrant and Lavender herbal tea option.
Guests receive personalized guidance from trained cast members who help create a customized tea experience, including choices of aromatic add-ins and optional sweetness to suit every palate.
Signature tea-based cocktails include the Mint Tulip featuring Old Forester Kentucky Straight Whiskey and the Mar-TEA-ni made with Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin. Non-alcoholic specialty teas include Curiosi-TEA with Strawberry Raspberry herbal flavors and This Way, That Way with Peach Mango herbal tea. Champagne and sparkling wines are also available.
Food Items
The culinary experience begins with an Orange-Cranberry Scone served with traditional accompaniments, followed by a three-tiered tower featuring a variety of savory and sweet treats.
Savory selections include a Curried Chicken Salad Playing Card Tart with cherry gelée, a Wonderland Salmon Crisp called Footman’s Feast, a traditional Tweedledee Egg Salad Sandwich on beet bread, and a Caterpillar Cucumber Roll made with butterfly pea-infused cream cheese on pumpernickel.
Sweet offerings consist of The Matcha Mad Hatter sponge cake with apricot jam and yuzu buttercream, Tea Party Tart with vanilla tart and coffee custard, Flamingo Croquet Choux filled with passion fruit cream and raspberry crunch, and Painting the Rose, an Earl Grey-flavored teacake painted tableside.
Plant-based afternoon tea options are also available for those preferring vegan selections.
Additional indulgences include a seasonal cheese selection and Royal Osetra Caviar served with mini chive biscuits and traditional accompaniments.
The Children's Afternoon Tea features savory mini bites such as the Queen of Hearts Cheese Toastie, Fanciful Turkey Wrap, and Sunflower Seed Butter and Jelly Bun. Desserts include the Cheshire Cat Raspberry Macaron, Chocolate Brownie Branch, and a vanilla White Rabbit Cupcake.
